Goal

Spread awareness for the grand reopening of one of Dignity Health’s newly remodeled hospitals, and highlight their cardiac care capabilities across the region.

Approach

Along with the client team, Competitive Edge helped organize a Heart Health Symposium & Inauguration event to highlight the hospital and its new state-of-the-art cardiac care department. We developed the event strategy, targeting potential patients in the area, and leveraging key communication components—digital advertising and social media marketing—to generate awareness for the event, as well as encourage attendance. 

Results

Targeted advertising generated over 10,000 impressions and a high click-through rate/response (.9% vs. industry average of .1%). Advertising also drove up attendance so that an event expected to have 40 to 50 attendees had well over 100. Multiple vendors and speakers participated and the event was an overwhelming success.
